Hands on Reiki Sessions are available once again in Perth. Reiki Associates will follow Corona Virus standard procedure guidelines regarding prevention and control of the infection...mask wearing by Denise and client, all surfaces disinfected between clients (treatment table, chairs, door knobs, fresh linens, reception area). If you are experiencing any Covid symptoms, please do not enter the building and reschedule your session. Distance sendings and remote hands free sessions are always available.

REIKI SHARES

All Covid 19 restrictions will be in place. Only 5 attendees are allowed at this time so please connect with Share Host to reserve your spot.

This Reiki Share will follow the format of the successful July share.... social distancing with masks.

The share will be a group of 5 or less, sitting in chairs about 6 feet apart. The Share will begin at 7pm with a group meditation that anyone can join. Next, the group will send to one individual at a time from their chair....it will be similar to the receiving person being on a massage table. We will rotate through the group until everyone present has received a session. It will be a slightly different opportunity to experience and practice Reiki.

There is no charge for the share, but, you may make a free will offering with proceeds to the Children's Make a Wish Foundation.

What is a Sending?

A Sending or Distance Session is an alternative method for receiving a Reiki session. This method can be used if the person requesting a session cannot be in the same physical space as the practitioner. Examples of this would be: if there is an issue with time, if there is a need for energetic balance during an important event, or if the client and the practitioner are not in the same building/city/province.

Reiki energy can be “sent” or directed to a person that is not in the same physical location as the practitioner. To prepare for a sending, the practitioner and the person requesting the session would mutually agree upon a time and duration for the session. The practitioner would then use the technique of a Distance treatment or Sending to focus the Reiki energy on the person. It is beneficial but not essential for the person receiving the session to be in a relaxed state and expectant of the session. An Insight gained through the Covid 19 experience.

To my surprise, staying home for the remainder of March, all of April and part of May, has revealed a desire to practice at one location only. To that end, I am giving up my space at the Riverside Clinic in Ottawa. Having to move the practice to sendings from hands on sessions opened the capacity to maintain my associations with the Ottawa clientele. It is my heartfelt wish to continue working with each and every client through the different types of sessions offered.
