The Year of Radical Self Care
|
The teachers labelled the year 2022 as the year of Radical Self Care. The importance of loving ourselves through the most difficult situations became the practice. Could we step away from self abuse through our thoughts, words and actions and focus instead on allowing our old patterns of behaviour and thought to surface for processing in a more constructive way? The idea of loving ourselves free grew. It took practice, but it grew. Now, can we gift ourselves to only allow loving ourselves as this year of Radical Self Care concludes? Can we allow ourselves to forgive any unprocessed thought or feeling that arises to be left as just that? An processed thought or feeling. Can we step out of creating a story to justify it?

Can we step back from reacting through the thought or feeling? Can we just acknowledge it? Then can we wrap ourselves in the energy of Love and Light and let the thought or feeling finish its process? Can we love it free? And, as we love ourselves free, we allow everyone else to do the same. What a practice to put in place as we end 2022 and step into 2023.

Reiki Share - Sunday December 11th

A Reiki Share is an opportunity to experience and practice Reiki. It is open to everyone with Reiki training as well as those who are curious. The share begins with a short meditation. This is followed with group treatments. A group treatment is defined as one person receiving Reiki simultaneously from one or more practitioners. The group rotates through all those present at the table. A typical share lasts for approximately two hours.
