A Year of Compassion and Kindness
|
We are now in the Magical month of May. This year of Compassion and Kindness seems to be flying by as we learn new ways to be humans in this Aquarian Era. The teachers that I listen to have been collectively diligent with their message for this time. They are asking us to develop new thoughts, words, and actions for managing the chaos that currently surrounds us. The chaos is due to old authoritarian ways that have created a "power over" energy for the masses. The results of which are now rising to the surface in an effort to help the masses decide if this is the path we wish to follow or not. The new Aquarian way asks us to bring our thoughts, words, and actions to an energy of "empowering" the masses. Can we shift our personal ways to bring empowering energy to ourselves and then the masses?

Reiki Shares - We now have two!!
|

Reiki Associates has two shares per month. One on Tuesday May 16th from 7pm to 9pm hosted by Cindy McPherson and Regan Bechamp. The second on Sunday May 21st from 1pm to 3pm hosted by Denise Carpenter

A Reiki Share is an opportunity to experience and practice Reiki. It is open to everyone with Reiki training as well as those who are curious. The share begins with a short meditation. This is followed with group treatments. A group treatment is defined as one person receiving Reiki simultaneously from one or more practitioners. The group rotates through all those present at the table. A typical share lasts for approximately two hours.

There is no charge for the share, but, you may make a free will offering with proceeds to the Children's Make a Wish Foundation. For more information contact Denise 613-913-2803

Curious about Reiki? Where did it originate and how does it work? The Level I Reiki training will help with your understanding of incredible energy available to and for everyone. During this training you will explore the history of Usui Reiki, the benefits, the principles, and the basic hand positions for giving a treatment to yourself and another. You will also receive a treatment.

This eight hour training will be scheduled with 4 two hour classes.
|
- Class one will be May 20th from 10am to noon
- Class two will be May 27th from 10am to noon
- Class three will be June 10th from 10am to noon
- Class four will be June17th from 10am to noon
