As we step into August, the golden energy of summer surrounds us in full, vibrant bloom. This month invites us to pause and soak in the warmth, reminding us that rest isn't a reward—it is a necessity.

Reiki Associates has two shares per month and a new Reiki Gathering.
|
|
The first Reiki Share is on August 9th from 1pm to 3pm hosted by Denise Carpenter.
|
|
The second Reiki Share is on August 18th from 7pm to 9pm hosted by Regan Bechamp and Cindy McPherson.
|
|
The Reiki Gathering-Shuchu is on August 13th from 8:00pm to 9pm over Zoom.
|
|
|
|
|
A Reiki Share is an opportunity to experience and practice Reiki. It is open to everyone with Reiki training as well as those who are curious. The share begins with a short meditation.
|
This is followed with group treatments. A group treatment is defined as one person receiving Reiki simultaneously from one or more practitioners. The group rotates through all those present at the table. A typical share lasts for approximately two hours.
|
|

Shuchu - A New Reiki Gathering

Join Our Shuchu Reiki Gathering!
|

What happens when a group of Reiki Practitioners get together over Zoom to beam Reiki energy out into the world? We call it Shuchu!
|
Shuchu is a beautiful form of a Reiki Gathering where we pool our collective energy to offer distant sendings to loved ones outside of our circle. All it takes is a photograph of the person receiving the sending, and through Zoom, we create a powerful wave of healing support to send their way.
|
|
Whether you are looking to practice your skills, connect with our wonderful community, or just spend some time soaking in the good vibes, we would absolutely love to have you join us.

What is needed:
A digital photograph of the person you would like us to send Reiki to. It could be yourself.
Please send in your photo by Friday August 7th so we can prepare.

Komyo ReikiDo – Chuden Level Training (Level II)
Ready to deepen your Reiki practice? Join Denise for Chuden (Level II) and expand your skills to share Reiki with others in a more practical and powerful way.

In this class, you will:
~ Learn Shirushi (Reiki symbols) to enhance the focus and effectiveness of your healing
~ Discover how to offer distant healing across time and space
~ Receive four Reiju (attunements) to strengthen your connection to Reiki energy
~ Explore the emotional and mental aspects of Reiki
~ Build confidence to offer Reiki professionally

Prerequisite: Shoden Level completed at least one month prior to sitting Chuden Class
Class Time: 10:00am to 5:00pm

How Does A Sending Work?
|
To prepare for a sending, the practitioner and the person requesting the session would mutually agree upon a time and duration for the session.
|
|
|
|
The practitioner would then use the technique of a Distance treatment or Sending to focus the Reiki energy on the person. It is beneficial but not essential for the person receiving the session to be in a relaxed state and expectant of the session.
|
|
This format was designed for a client requiring multiple sessions but had time and availability constraints. There is a 21 consecutive day block of sendings. Each daily sending is 20 minutes in duration. A designated block of 21 consecutive days is chosen by the client and practitioner. The daily sending is a direct energy connection with the client. These sessions evolve into a more energetically involved flow due to the daily connection. It is an excellent introduction to Reiki or an incredible boost to those already experiencing Reiki sessions.
