July Ponderings
A Year of Compassion and Kindness
|
July...we are now half way through this year of Compassion and Kindness. We are now entering the period when Compassion and Kindness to self is priority. Our daily practice of self care and self love moves to the default instead of the exception. The teachers all speak of more trauma and drama as 2023 flows. Remembering that we are energy beings having a human experience and not human having an energy experience, helps us to refocus on being accountable for our own energy field. A being vibrating at a higher frequency is a monumental, influential force to the collective. If we can practice holding ourselves in the higher frequencies while chaos surrounds us...then we can be "in the world, but not of the world". And, always with the premise of "Like attracts Like" foremost in our thoughts.

Reiki Associates has two shares per month. One on Sunday July 16th from 1pm to 3pm hosted by Denise Carpenter. The second on Tuesday July 18th from 7pm to 9pm hosted by Cindy McPherson

A Reiki Share is an opportunity to experience and practice Reiki. It is open to everyone with Reiki training as well as those who are curious. The share begins with a short meditation. This is followed with group treatments. A group treatment is defined as one person receiving Reiki simultaneously from one or more practitioners. The group rotates through all those present at the table. A typical share lasts for approximately two hours.

There is no charge for the share, but, you may make a free will offering with proceeds to the Children's Make a Wish Foundation. For more information contact Denise 613-913-2803

I had the incredible privilege of taking the first four levels of Komyo ReikiDo through this amazing Sensei from Japan….Sensei Inamoto Hyakuten in early June.

This has been on my bucket list for over 20years. And, I happy to say that over the upcoming year, I will complete the requirements for teaching this Eastern Reiki System. It has already enriched the my Western Reiki training through Sensei Takata…. So Exciting!!
