There seems to be a long time between blogs. I have to admit that a lot has been happening in my life over the last few months…..all wonderful and overwhelming at the same time. This will be my 20th year as a Reiki Master/Teacher with Usui Reiki. And, true to the Flow of Reiki, gifting and change are taking place. One of my heart felt wishes has been to bring Reiki into Community in such a way that it could take hold, grow and find its place in Community. Over the last 23 years, I have watched the number of trained practitioners and teachers grow to a point where we now have presence. Recently, there has been a quiet whispering in my ear that the time was coming for change. Indeed…. it arrived. I am being lead to change the focus of my Reiki practice slightly. And, to move from bringing Reiki to the Reiki Community to bringing it to Community at large. To that end, this will be my last Reiki conference with Brenda, but hopefully not the last Reiki conference. There are two Perth area projects that have come to my attention and I have been asked to participate…..from my place as a Reiki Master. I am going to accept. This requires a slight restructuring of my time and energies. But, know that Reiki and my practice of it is my focus…it has been since my Level I class 23 years ago. I am looking forward to maintaining my practice. I am looking forward to the new practice techniques that are developing. I am looking forward to remaining in contact with all my Reiki colleagues and enjoying the fellowship it brings. I am looking forward to bringing Reiki into my larger Community.
