I have been starting my day with a card form “Angelic Messenger Cards” by Meredith L. Young-Sowers. It is an older deck, actually, the first deck I every bought all those decades ago. But, these messages seem to grow and change in meaning, as I evolve. Today, I chose “Willpower…..Finding the inner discipline to stay consistent with your daily spiritual practices”. I am going to quote from the card’s book….”Is willpower, then, an act of ultimate contrition in the performance of a difficult and unwanted task? The Divine Love of the Universe doesn’t need willpower to find you; it simply runs along the currents of your life and merges with you as you let it. This thought is so inspiring…simply breath, be open to receiving and allow Divine Love to run along the currents of your life. Ahhhhhhh, yes, I can do that, no matter what the day has in store for me. I can trust that the Universe is always working towards my highest good…..ahhhh yes, just breath and let Divine Love find me, ahhhh yes, just breath and respond from that place. I wonder what magic the day will bring.
